What Makes Us Different

Technology That Sees What Others Miss.

At Endodontics of Denver, we don’t just do root canals—we do them with precision, purpose, and the most advanced technology available. Led by Dr. Darin Lee, a board-certified endodontist with nearly two decades of experience, our practice is built around one mission: to save teeth, relieve pain, and do what’s best for the patient—every time.

Dr. Lee performs dozens of root canals each week and specializes in complex cases that many general dentists refer out—like narrow, blocked, or curved canals that require expert navigation. He combines advanced training with cutting-edge tools to ensure every procedure is as comfortable, thorough and predictable as possible.

Surgical Microscopy (Zeiss Omni Pico)

Every root canal and microsurgical procedure is done under a powerful surgical microscope. Why? Because the canals inside your tooth are tiny—some as thin as a strand of hair. With extreme magnification and bright illumination, Dr. Lee can locate, clean, and seal every canal with unmatched accuracy, reducing the risk of missed anatomy and long-term complications.

EndoActivator™

Think of this like the washing machine for your root canal. The EndoActivator uses sonic energy to safely agitate the disinfecting solutions inside your tooth, pushing them deep into the canal system—reaching places that rinsing alone can’t touch. It dramatically improves cleaning, especially in hard-to-reach areas and complex root structures, which helps ensure long-term success.

Ultrasonic Technology

Ultrasonic instruments allow Dr. Lee to perform delicate procedures with precision while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible. They’re powerful tools for:

  • Treating Calcified Canals: When canals become blocked due to age or trauma, ultrasonic tips and vibration can gently open and clean them—saving teeth that might otherwise be lost.

  • Removing Broken Instruments: If a piece of a file breaks off in a previous procedure, ultrasonic vibration can help remove it safely so the tooth can still be treated.

  • Locating Hidden Canals: Molars often have extra canals (like the tricky MB2), which are frequently missed. Ultrasonics and magnification make it easier to find and clean them properly.

  • Post Removal: If a tooth has a permanent post, it sometimes needs to be removed to access the root system. Our ultrasonic tools help remove posts carefully and safely—without damaging the surrounding tooth.

CBCT 3D Imaging

Dr. Darin Lee uses CBCT technology to get a detailed 3D view of your teeth, bone, nerve pathways, and any hidden infections. It helps locate extra canals, assess bone structure, detect the extent of infections, and avoid critical nerves—leading to safer, more accurate, and effective treatment.

Why it matters:

  • Precise diagnosis of infections and extra canals

  • Safer, more effective root canal treatments

  • Personalized planning for each tooth

  • Comfortable, fast, and non-invasive scan process
